The Vietnam Victory Challenge was founded and is owned by Robert Lofgran as part of SEA Sports Marketing. The race was founded in 2015.

“I’m originally from Afton, Wyoming where I grew up with a love and appreciation for the mountains. I later moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where at a very young age was lucky enough to get hired on at a local bike shop. My cycling started with learning the art of trials riding which went hand in hand with exploring the Wasatch Mountains on my MTB. After competing in some MTB races at a young age I was lured to road racing where I spent the next 10+ years and still regularly compete. In 2006 I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to train and race in Hertsberge Belgium for 3 months. My love for cycling racing grew even more although the idea of making a living as a racer dwindled. I became a USA Cycling licensed coach later that year and grew a sizable coaching client base in Utah while continuing to compete recreationaly. I later started my own power-based training center in Salt Lake City before moving to Vietnam for a work assignment within the bike industry. Bikes and cycling have been my life. I’m experienced in bike shop management, a master mechanic, bike fitter, experienced coach and now a race promotor.”
